KUBELAB · POLICIES & TRUST
Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated August 2026
KubeLab gives you real, isolated Kubernetes clusters with real compute. This policy exists so that compute is used for learning — and not abused. It applies to everyone who uses the platform.
No cryptocurrency mining
Running cryptocurrency miners, or any workload whose primary purpose is to consume compute for financial gain, is strictly prohibited. This includes proof-of-work and proof-of-space mining, hosted mining pools, rented-out compute, and any attempt to disguise such workloads (obfuscated binaries, unusual sustained CPU/GPU load, or unexpected outbound connections to mining pools). Lab environments are monitored for these signals. We terminate offending sessions immediately, may suspend the account, and do not owe a refund for compute consumed in violation of this section.
No abuse of the environment
Do not use a lab environment to:
- attack, scan, or send unsolicited traffic to systems you do not own;
- host public services, proxies, VPNs, botnets, or command-and-control;
- store or distribute unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
- attempt to escape the lab sandbox or reach the platform's own infrastructure;
- circumvent quotas, session limits, or the concurrency limit.
No account abuse
One person, one account. Do not create multiple accounts to evade free-tier limits, share paid access, or automate mass sign-ups. Automated lab creation beyond ordinary human use is not permitted.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation, with or without notice depending on severity. Critical abuse (mining, attacks) is actioned automatically. Questions about whether a use is permitted should be sent to support before you run it.
