CKAD Mock Exam — Core
A timed, weighted mock exam: six questions spanning configuration, deployments and probes, services, jobs, network policy, and workload hardening — scored as one, calibrated a notch above the real CKAD.
Your mission
This is a timed mock exam, not a tutorial. Six weighted questions, one cluster, one score. The clock is 60 minutes — when it runs out your work is graded as it stands. Hints and solutions are locked while the clock runs; they open for study once time is up. Passing is 66%, but treat that as the floor: this sim is calibrated a notch above the real CKAD, so aim to clear it comfortably.
Each question names its own namespace (web, net, batch, secure) — all
already created. The questions are independent; do them in any order, and bank the
easy points first. Check a question anytime to see if it's green.
Work fast
alias k=kubectl
# per question, switch context once:
kubectl config set-context --current --namespace=webGenerate YAML instead of writing it from scratch — kubectl create ... --dry-run=client -o yaml — then edit. That habit is the difference between finishing and not.
