One Pod Per Node with DaemonSets

Node agents — log shippers, metrics collectors, CNI — run one copy on every node. That's a DaemonSet. Deploy one, then make it tolerate the control-plane taint so no node is left uncovered.

Your mission

Some workloads belong on every node: a log shipper, a metrics agent, the CNI. A DaemonSet guarantees exactly that — one Pod per node, and it automatically places a Pod on any node that joins later.

You'll run a node-agent DaemonSet in the logging namespace and make it cover every node, control-plane included.

kubectl config set-context --current --namespace=logging
