Pod Priority and Preemption

When a node is full, which Pods win? Define a PriorityClass and run a workload at that priority — the mechanism the scheduler uses to evict lower-priority Pods for critical ones.

Your mission

When a node has no room left, the scheduler doesn't just give up — it can preempt (evict) lower-priority Pods to make space for a higher-priority one. Priority is set by attaching a PriorityClass to a Pod. Higher value wins.

You'll define a high PriorityClass and run a workload at it, in the apps namespace.

kubectl config set-context --current --namespace=apps
